Verification status: partial — supported by a secondary or prior-generation source.

Safety record cites the 2026 manual (Subaru doc MSA5M2600A; no 2027 book published yet — same generation, current source, Palisade precedent). CURTAIN = TRUE, FIGURE-DERIVED (owner-surfaced, operator-verified 2026-08-28 by rendering the figure at 550 dpi). PROSE ALONE DOES NOT CARRY IT: a full-text search of all 568 pages returns ZERO row-enumerated curtain language, and the manual describes the same part with two different landmarks — the Components list (printed p.94) says curtains sit 'in the roof side (between the front pillar and a point OVER THE REAR SEAT)' while the seating warning (printed p.90) says 'between the front pillar and a point BEHIND THE REAR QUARTER GLASS'. The two disagree on wording but agree directionally: both put the rear terminus at or behind the rearmost seating area. THE FIGURE CARRIES IT: the Components diagram (figure 102284, printed p.94, callout 4) draws the curtain as a shaded panel running from the front pillar rearward past all three seat rows, its rear edge terminating aft of the third-row seatbacks. Counted at 550 dpi, not off a thumbnail. NOTE — this SUPERSEDES the gate's original recommendation to hold not-published, which was written on the belief that no figure existed to read; it does, and it is the same evidence class as GV80/CX-90/Atlas. verificationStatus stays PARTIAL because the value is figure-derived rather than prose-stated. LATCH: recorded 1 PER SITE CONVENTION (the column counts anchor POSITIONS/sets, as batch 1 did — Telluride 2 = two positions): manual prose is 'There are 2 lower anchorages at the third-row LEFT side seat', i.e. one complete LATCH position (2 bars) at the left seat only; center/right are tether-only. TETHERS: 3, one per position, prose + labeled figure. REMINDER: BEST-IN-SEGMENT documentation — the warning-light layout enumerates all six rear positions individually including 'Third-row right/center/left'.

Hardware facts only. No U.S. crash-test programme instruments third-row occupants, so this site publishes what the vehicle has rather than a rating.
