Spec feed terms of use
These terms cover the public REST API and MCP server documented on /developers. Website use is covered by the site terms.
License: TRR-Attribution-1.0 (draft) — draft wording, subject to refinement; material changes will version the license string.
Free with attribution
You may query the feed and use the data in applications, agents, and answer engines at no charge, provided responses shown to users attribute Third Row Reality and link the relevant model page (every API response includes the canonical URLs). Attribution in an AI-generated answer means naming the site as the source of the figure, the same way our own /ask surface cites manufacturers.
No bulk resale
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the dataset itself — in bulk or repackaged as a competing feed — without a licensing agreement. High-volume or commercial licensing: contact via the about page.
Rate limits
The anonymous tier is limited (currently 60 requests/minute/IP, returned as 429 with Retry-After). Limits may change; sustained high-volume use should get in touch about a keyed tier.
No warranty; accuracy
The feed is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Values reflect the verification state described on the methodology page: verified values carry their sources, unknowns are explicit nulls with reasons, and source disagreements are served verbatim. Specifications change between model years and configurations — confirm against the manufacturer before purchase decisions, and treat null as null rather than substituting an estimate.
Availability
The feed is served on a best-effort basis with no uptime commitment. Breaking changes to response shapes will ship under a new version prefix (/v2), never as mutations of /v1.
