Source is the 2026 Palisade (LX3) Owner's Manual, 663 pp — the current generation. Hyundai has not yet published a 2027 manual (owners.hyundaiusa.com returns 'No Record Found!' for Year=2027), so this is a current-generation document, NOT a stale prior-generation one. REMINDER = true, p.73-74: 'Rear passenger's seat belt warning ... For rear seat: As a reminder to the rear passenger, the rear passenger's seat belt warning lights will illuminate for about 6 seconds each time ... If the seatbelt is unbuckled before the vehicle comes to a complete stop, the alarm sound may be triggered.' Rows are not named in the prose, but Hyundai prints SEPARATE 7-seater and 8-seater per-seat diagrams for it, and a dedicated 'Rear center seatbelt (3rd row)' section exists at p.70 — the same figure-plus-generic-prose basis on which the GX 550 and LX rows were recorded true. CURTAIN = NULL (candidate not-published): p.96 says 'Curtain airbags are located along both sides of the roof rails above the front and rear doors. They are designed to help protect the heads of the front seat occupants and the rear outboard seat occupants' — 'rear outboard' is one undifferentiated category, not a row enumeration. A full-text search for 'curtain' co-occurring with 'third row'/'3rd row' across all 663 pages returns nothing. CURTAIN = true, FIGURE-SUPPORTED, corrected from null 2026-08-24. Two corrections in one day on this field, and the second withdraws the first: an earlier check the same day looked at the 'Curtain airbags' rendering on printed p.96, a partial interior view showing one front and one rear occupant with no third row in frame, and wrongly concluded the null was confirmed. The manual carries a BETTER figure eleven pages earlier that was never opened — the 'Airbag - Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)' overview on printed p.85 (PDF p.93, asset 1C_AirbagOverview), a full-cabin cutaway of the entire seat assembly. Its legend runs 1 Driver's front / 2 Passenger's front / 3 Front side / 4 Rear side / 5 CURTAIN AIRBAG / 6 Driver's knee / 7 Front center side. Callout 5 brackets BOTH curtain panels, and the far-side panel extends from the front pillar past the rear-side-airbag seats (callout 4, second row) to the rear of the cabin, over the rearmost seating. Same basis as the Grand Highlander and the Lexus TX: non-enumerated seat-based prose ('the heads of the front seat occupants and the rear outboard seat occupants') plus a full-cabin figure showing the curtain over the third row. METHOD NOTE, worth generalising: the p.96 error was the third instance in one session of concluding from the FIRST figure found rather than the BEST figure available (cf. Audi RAZ-1738 vs RAZ-1739, and the Q7 airbag overview at crop size vs full size). Enumerate a manual's figures for a field before ruling on it. ANCHORS = 2 and TETHERS = 3, CLOSED 2026-08-24 from Hyundai's WEBHELP edition of the same manual, which publishes figures the PDF's text could not enumerate. ANCHORS = 2: asset 2C_ALRSeatBeltLowerAnchorOverview draws the cabin top-down in BOTH seating configurations (captain's chairs and bench) and marks anchor symbols at two THIRD-ROW positions in each, outboard left and right. Corroborating text: 'LATCH anchors have been provided in the left and right outboard rear seating positions ... There are no LATCH anchors provided for the center rear seating position.' TETHERS = 3: asset 2C_ALRSeatBeltTetherAnchor draws the same two configurations and marks THREE third-row tether positions in each. Text is ROW-ENUMERATED here: 'Tether anchors are located on the rear of the second row seatbacks and third row seatbacks.' This supersedes the earlier finding that Hyundai 'splits nothing by row'. That was true of the PDF edition's prose; it is not true of the webhelp edition's figures. Both counts independently match the Cars.com CPST check (two sets of lower anchors, three top tethers), which is noted only as corroboration — the recorded values rest on Hyundai. verificationStatus stays partial: curtain and anchors are figure-derived and the reminder rests on per-seat diagrams rather than row-enumerated prose, the same disposition as the GX 550 and LX. CPST CONTEXT (third-party, NOT a source): Cars.com found 'two sets of lower anchors' and 'three top tether anchors' in the third row, LATCH grade A — i.e. the two counts Hyundai declines to publish.
