2026 Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban Owner Manual (427 pp), discovered through GM's Solr manual finder because the filenames rotate. Every figure below was re-read directly from the PDF in this session. CURTAIN = true, ROW-ENUMERATED VERBATIM p.66: 'Rollover capable roof-rail airbags are designed to help contain the head and chest of occupants in the outboard seating positions in the first, second, and third rows.' Coverage is outboard positions only, in all three rows. TETHERS = 3, FIGURE-DERIVED: the diagram captioned 'Third Row Seat' on printed p.84 shows a three-across bench with a TOP TETHER symbol above each of the three positions; a companion photograph calls out three anchor points on the seatback. Body text: 'For the third row seat, the top tether anchors are on the back of the seatback.' ANCHORS = 0, LEGEND-DERIVED: GM's convention is a per-diagram symbol legend. Both second-row diagrams (60/40 and Bucket) carry TWO legend lines - 'H : Seating positions with two lower anchors' AND '} : Seating positions with top tether anchors' - while the 'Third Row Seat' diagram carries ONLY the tether line. The absence of the lower-anchor symbol is how GM states that the third row has none; the manual prints no numeral. This is the same reading, from the same manual family, on which the Escalade's 0 anchors / 3 tethers were recorded. REMINDER = true, p.112: 'Second and Third Row Passenger Seat Belt Reminder Light - This vehicle may have second and third row passenger seat belt reminder lights.' Note GM's availability hedge ('may have'). CPST CONTEXT (third-party, NOT a source, and NOT Tahoe): no Car Seat Check exists for the current-generation Tahoe. The closest is Cars.com's 2021 SUBURBAN check - same GM platform, different nameplate - which found 'There are no lower anchors in the third row' and 'Three top tether anchors sit halfway down the third-row seatback'. It corroborates both readings above but must not be attributed to the Tahoe.
